Welcome to Steve Luther Elementary School!
At Luther School, we pride ourselves on providing a safe and engaging learning environment, where students are challenged to think critically, collaborate with others, communicate clearly, and exercise their creativity. Our teachers thoughtfully plan instruction and learning experiences that enable students to develop and apply their broad content knowledge to real-world experiences.
Luther School is a place where all students have the opportunity to learn in 21st-century classroom facilities. Our STEM lab provides students with flexible learning space and the technology needed for them to explore and apply science, technology, engineering, and math. In our music classroom, students learn to read music, sing, move, and explore a variety of musical instruments. Credentialed music teachers provide weekly instruction to students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Ongoing professional development for staff members helps to ensure that our instructional program is rigorous, yet differentiated, to meet the needs of all learners.
Luther’s small size helps us to maintain a tight-knit school community. Our diversity makes Luther a special place to be. There are many ways for parents to become involved at school. We encourage you to join the PTA, serve on the School Site Council or English Learner Advisory Council, volunteer in the classroom, or help out at special events. We recognize the important role parents play in helping us to provide enriched learning experiences for our students, and we value our partnership with you!
Thank you for being a part of the Luther team!
